Dr. C. Rani is the Director I/c of the School of Entrepreneurship and Extension (SEE) and Head, Women Studies Cell. She has Master's degree in Business Administration, a doctoral degree from Osmania University. She has also received training in empowerment of women through enterprise development at Cranfield School of Management, UK. Dr. Rani's expertise is in the areas of training methods and entrepreneurship development with particular focus on women. She has designed and organized several national and international programmes on empowerment of women through enterprises. Dr. Rani is a visiting faculty at Durham Business School, UK in 1996. She also visits several reputed institutions in India as guest faculty. She has developed training manuals for trainers' on Developing Enterprise for Women, supported by British Council and the manual on Training of Trainers on Additional Income Opportunities for the families of Child labour, supported by ILO. She is also actively involved in research and produced reports on issues concerning women and curriculum development on Entrepreneurship development.
